Smith Apologizes To Rock: Uproxx says Will Smith publicly apologized to Chris Rock yesterday for slugging him at the Academy Awards. He Instagrammed ...
Violence in all of its forms is poisonous and destructive. My behavior at last night’s Academy Awards was unacceptable and inexcusable. Jokes at my expense are part of the job, but a joke about Jada’s medical condition was too much for me to bear and I reacted emotionally.
I would like to publicly apologize to you, Chris. I was out of line and I was wrong. I am embarrassed and my actions were not indicative of the man I want to be. There is no place for violence in a world of love and kindness.
I would also like to apologize to the Academy, the producers of the show, all the attendees and everyone watching around the world. I would like to apologize to the Williams Family and my King Richard Family. I deeply regret that my behavior has stained what has been an otherwise gorgeous journey for all of us.

E! News says Nick Lachey recently had a run-in with a paparazzo. He was on a date with his wife, Vanessa, when he reached inside the photographer's car and tried to snatch a phone from her hands. A new survey by Travelodge reveals that 10% of people are sleeping on a mattress that is 20 years-old or older. Other findings:
- 40% of people sleep on a mattress that is so uncomfortable they can feel the springs coming through.
- 40% of people say their mattress squeaks at night
- 45% of people have kept a mattress until it came apart

Will Smith and Chris Rock's confrontation at the Academy Awards opened old wounds between my husband and I. We were out a month ago when a man made an inappropriate comment to me at a bar and restaurant. Instead of defending me, my husband tried to diffuse the situation and ushered us out of the building. I was furious because he refused to stand up for me. He said it would have only made things worse and escalated the situation. Whatever happened to chivalry? Should my husband have stood up for me and said something or was his approach the right one? I want a Will Smith not a wimp!
