Dear Fonseca,

My husband and I told our 17 year old daughter she could have anything she wants for Christmas because she's made the Honor Roll every semester in high school. She's set to graduate with honors in May. She stunned us with her wish list. We thought she was going to ask for a new car or TV and instead asked for Ozempic. She wants to lose some weight for her senior pictures and get ready for her first year of college. She's a bit self-conscious. My husband and I don't know what to do. The drug will help her lose weight, but there are also serious side effects. Should a teenager be on Ozempic? We are not sure how to handle this. Giving it to her will allow us to monitor her. If we don't, she may take it on her own and get herself in trouble. What would you do if you were us?
