Dear Fonseca,

I was expecting my boyfriend to propose during the holidays. Now, that's not going to happen. He says he is not sure if he is in love with me. He says the only way to be sure is to break up. If he feels he can't live without me then he knows our relationship is right and we should get married. He wants me to wait until he figures out his feelings. All of my friends are warning me against this. Some family members, who like him, say I should be patient and give him space. We've been dating for a while so if he's not sure now when will he be? What would you do if you were me? Wait or not?
