Despite Swift's efforts to provide relief and lead a chant for water, Ana could not be revived. The singer expressed her grief on social media and extended her condolences to Ana’s family and friends.

Swift posted: “I can't believe I'm writing these words, but it is with her shattered heart that I say we lost a fan earlier tonight before my show. I can't even tell you how devastated I am by this. There's very little information I have other than the fact that she was so incredibly beautiful and far too young. I'm not going to be able to speak about this from the stage because I feel overwhelmed by grief when I even try to talk about it. I want to say now I feel this loss deeply, and my broken heart goes out to her family and friends. This is the last thing I ever thought would happen when we decided to bring this tour to Brazil.”

Ana's father tells the New York Post newspaper, “I lost my only daughter, a happy and intelligent girl. She was about to graduate in psychology next April, saving money. I have no words to express my pain. She left home to fulfill a dream and came back dead. A source says, “When it comes to Matthew’s death, emotions are still running high and it is still a very touchy situation, which is totally understandable. But Jen, Lisa, and the rest of the cast want to honor him publicly at some point and give him the tribute he so rightfully deserves – and there have been rumblings to do it at next year’s Emmys. They all would love to get together on stage to speak about him and also have their own unique moment sharing memories about him and telling the world about the man he was in real life. If they can all agree on a worthy tribute and get the blessing of his family, they will absolutely get together to make that night a special moment for Matthew and all who loved him”

Dear Fonseca,

We had our office Christmas party last Friday. We did it early this year because some people are going to be on vacation in December while others are expecting babies or having surgery. I was stunned during our Secret Santa gift exchange. A co-worker took the wedding present I gave her and turned it into a Secret Santa gift. Another co-worker ended up with the gift. I paid a ton of money for it and am so angry that it was regifted. I'm sending an Email today to my co-worker demanding a refund for the gift. My sister says I should stay quiet about it and not ruffle any feathers. I think what my co-worker did is in poor taste I should be reimbursed for the present. I bought a wedding gift not a Secret Santa gift. Should I be reimbursed? What do you think? I want my money back.
