Dear Fonseca,

I know everyone is thinking about Thanksgiving and Christmas now that Halloween has passed, but I'm not. I'm still thinking about Halloween because one of my neighbors and her kids walked up to our door and took all of the candy in the giant bowl we left out for trick or treaters. I caught her on camera. She and I got into a screaming match yesterday morning in my driveway. I'm thinking of going to the police with the footage and having her arrested for theft. My husband says I should leave it alone and that I have no case because I left the candy out. I did and I caught her stealing. He says we need to keep the peace in the neighborhood and I should let it go. I think it's wrong what my neighbor did and believe she should have to pay. I think any reasonable person would know they can only take a candy or two not empty the whole bowl into their bags. Do you think I have a case? Should I listen to my husband or not? I saw a video of a woman doing the same thing. What is this world coming to.
