Dear Fonseca,

My husband and I went to a wedding last month. We were shocked over the weekend when we received news that the newlyweds are planning an annulment. My husband and I spent a lot of money on their wedding present. He and I both want them to reimburse us for the gift. We gave them the gift because we believed they were in it for the long run. We kind of feel duped. Are we wrong in asking for our money back? What's the protocol for this?
