A new study by Cricket Wireless reveals that 25% of Americans are unsure if they will receive a tax refund this year. That’s up from 20% last year. Other findings:
- 43% of people anticipate a tax refund in 2024
- The average expected tax refund amount is $2,023.50. That’s down from $2,338.40 last year
- 66% of Americans plan to use their tax refund in a more 'mature' way this year

My husband and I spent a lot of money on their wedding present. He and I both want them to reimburse us for the gift. We gave them the gift because we believed they were in it for the long run. We kind of feel duped. Are we wrong in asking for our money back? What's the protocol for this?
