Dear Fonseca,

My boyfriend is probably going to end our relationship because of our vacation disaster. I returned to work yesterday after being out for a week. My boyfriend and I were booked to go to the Bahamas. When we got to the gate a week ago, he got stopped because his passport had expired. I told him a million times to renew it. He kept saying he was going to do it. My passport was good so I decided to continue on with my vacation. He was outraged I would go without him. I don't get much time off so this was a golden opportunity to relax. I wasn't going to allow him to ruin it. He says it's wrong I went alone and left him at home. Is he right? Was I wrong in going alone? What would you have done if you were me?
