Drew says, "I have listened to the writers, and in order to truly respect them, I will pivot from hosting the MTV Movie & TV Awards live in solidarity with the strike."

- CBS says Christmas Tree Shops may soon file for bankruptcy. The company has 80 stores in twenty states mainly in the Midwest, Northeast and Southeast. Bed Bath & Beyond bought the home decor chain for $200 million in 2003. They then sold it for an undisclosed amount of money in 2020. Christmas Tree Shops mainly sell Christmas-themed goods.

Fox Business News says a jury has found Ed Sheeran not guilty of copyright infringement. Marvin Gaye's family sued him because they claim Ed took parts of Marvin's song ''Let's Get It On'' for his song ''Thinking Out Loud''. Ed threatened to quit performing if found guilty. Marvin's family was seeking $100 million in damages

The Daily Mail says Healy dumped his girlfriend, model Meredith Mickelson, several weeks ago. A source tells the newspaper, ''Matty was seeing Meredith while he was in LA in February - but things fizzled out when he went to New York at the end of the month. They're still on good terms but haven't been romantically involved since then.''
The NY Post says The Kid Laroi is being accused of dining and dashing from a Missouri restaurant called Dublin's Pass. He and his friends went to the restaurant and were given a private room. They ate cheeseburgers, chicken wings, mac and cheese, salad and brownies before leaving without paying their $133 bill. Kid is refusing to comment
TMZ says Kid paid his bill late yesterday and left his server a $2,500 tip. He blamed the dining and dashing on his security guard
Billboard magazine says Dua Lipa and Donatella Versace are launching their own clothing line. Dua posted; “The news is out! We are excited to announce the Versace ‘La Vacanza’ women’s collection, which we have co-designed. We will be showing the collection on Tuesday 23rd May in Cannes, France. We cannot wait to show you what we have created!
BroBible says Post Malone is going to receive the Hal David Starlight Award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame in Los Angeles. This Songwriters Hall of Fame Award is awarded to “gifted songwriters who are at an apex in their careers and are making a significant impact in the music industry via their original songs.” Previous recipients include Taylor Swift, Drake, Ed Sheeran and John Mayer.
Block Club Chicago says a Chicago cocktail bar, called Best Bar, has banned Taylor Swift's music. A sign on the door reads: ''Shake It Off! No Taylor Swift music is allowed here Taylor Swift fans: You belong with me, but her music does not belong at this event.” A customer came up with the idea for the ban after he refused to have any of Taylor's songs played durng his birthday party. One owner says, “We get more requests for Taylor Swift with the poster up than we ever did before. I think it’s people giving us a little razz, nothing more outside that.”
Radar Online says there is no bad blood between Taylor Swift and her ex, Joe Alwyn. Sources tell the website, "Joe's not trashing Taylor and still has a whole lot of respect for her. Taylor hasn't given up on finding the right person. Taylor truly believes that whatever is meant to be will be. And she knows everything happens for a reason. Taylor is excited for the future and feeling very optimistic about what's ahead."
TMZ says reports Kevin Costner got a co-worker pregnant while they worked on ''Yellowstone'' together is false. The rumors started after someone tweeted, "I wonder now, if the drama surrounding Kevin Costner and Yellowstone 'scheduling,' was due to the rumor of him potentially getting someone on set pregnant?" Another fan said, "So it wasn’t Bentley who got a girl pregnant on the Yellowstone set ... it was Costner."
King Charles' coronation will take place tomorrow in the U.K.. The Robb Report says one of the highlights of the coronation is going to be when Charles holds the Royal scepter. It contains the world's largest clear-cut diamond, the Star of Africa. The 530-carat diamond was found in South Africa in 1905. Many South Africans want Charles to return the jewel.
The Irish Mirror says Madame Tussauds in London is celebrating King Charles' upcoming coronation by reuniting Prince Harry's wax statue with the rest of the Royal family statues. Meghan Markle's statue is being left in another room.
Tussaud's says, "From today, Prince Harry has officially rejoined The Royal Palace experience at our attraction. The temporary move reflects the Duke of Sussex’s participation in the coronation and ensures guests will be able to get up close to all members of the royal family attending this once-in-a-lifetime event. His figure will remain in The Royal Palace experience until the end of the coronation celebrations, after which he will take the short trip back to the attraction’s Awards Party zone, to stand by his wife’s side amongst our Hollywood A-listers."
The Sun says Prince Harry will be on a plane back to the United States within two hours of the end of his father's coronation. A source tells the newspaper, “He’ll be in and out of the UK in 24 hours. Harry will be in and out of the UK in 24 hours. He will only be doing the Coronation service then leaving.” Harry is taking an 11-hour flight from California to London
Gwyneth Paltrow tells the Call Her Daddy podcast that Leonardo DiCaprio tried to get with her when they were teenagers. “Nope, never made out with Leo. He tried back in the day. But he was already like, you know, he was very loose with the goods from when he was 19.”

I was a single mom with two tween boys when I met John in 2020. We quickly fell for one another and got married last year. I thought he was going to be a great role model and stepfather to my kids. He's turned out to be totally useless. I am thinking about cutting off the lovemaking until he starts pulling his weight. My sister is all for it while my best friend says that will create more problems and send him looking elsewhere. What do you think about my strategy? Our heart-to-heart talks have gone nowhere so I'm thinking this may be the best bet. What do you think?
