Dear Fonseca

My wife and I are fighting over our 12-year-old's Christmas presents. My tween daughter is nicknamed Miss Attitude for a reason. She didn't like many of the Christmas gifts we got her and has asked us to return or exchange them. She's even asked us to give her money instead of some of the gifts. I told my wife we should return the gifts rather than exchange them. Our daughter is not appreciative of anything we've done for her during the holidays. This will teach her a lesson. My wife says we should exchange the gifts and get her something she likes. She says depriving her of gifts makes us seem like Grinches. What would you do if you were us?
