Dear Fonseca,

My shopping trip to the mall the other night turned into a disaster. I saw a bell ringer and placed what I thought was a $10 bill into their charity kettle. When I was checking out of the store, I realized I accidentally gave them a $100 bill instead of a $10 bill. I quickly ran out of line and went over to the bell ringer to explain what happened. This started a huge argument that escalated into a shouting match. I stuck my hand into the kettle and grabbed my $100 bill. People were yelling and telling me that I was wrong. Someone took pictures and videos and posted them on Facebook. Now, I'm being vilified. The bell ringer and others said I had no right to take back my money. I made an honest mistake and believe I did have the right to do that. Should I be feeling guilty? Did I do anything wrong?
