Longtime 'Price Is Right' Host Bob Barker Dies At 99: TMZ says Bob Barker, the longtime host of "The Price is Right," recently died at the age of 99. Barker peacefully passed away at his Hollywood Hills home. The beloved TV personality was born in 1923 and started his broadcasting career as a radio announcer before hosting famous game shows like "Truth or Consequences" and "The Price Is Right." Barker won 19 Daytime Emmy awards and a Lifetime Achievement award. He retired from The Price Is Right" in 2007 after 35 years as host.

I'm being called an insensitive jerk because I bought my wife a full length mirror for her birthday. She's been talking about wanting to lose weight and join Weight Watchers so I thought I would help her and jump start her weight loss journey. Now, I'm being villainized for buying what I thought was a thoughtful gift. I'm trying to help her not hurt her. Everyone I talk to say the mirror was a terrible present. Was it?
