First Friday at CuriOdyssey ~ San MateoSwing into the weekend with science, animals, music, food trucks, and fun! On the first Friday of every month, from 5 PM until 8 PM, parents and kids celebrate together at CuriOdyssey. Dance to some of your favorite hits, while enjoying animal presentations and science activities. Activities and programs are different each time, so make it a monthly tradition.

Retro Roadshow ~ Alameda The California Historical Radio Society is collaborating with Retro Roadshow to put on an amazing event around Sci-Fi, radio, broadcasting, and vintage electronics. Enjoy a presentation guiding attendees through the interconnected history of Science Fiction and Video Games. Then there will be time for people to explore the exhibits which will feature a mix of 12 classic video game consoles and vintage personal computers paired with authentic CRT displays. Attendees of all ages can explore and interact with artifacts that trace nearly five decades of technological innovation in computing and gaming, bringing the past to life through play and discovery.

Eggster Egg Hunt and Learning Festival (Free) ~ BerkeleyEvery year, Eggster holds the largest annual egg hunt and learning festival in the Bay Area. It is a fun, free educational event that consists of activities booths, performances, and egg hunts to inspire the young children to the benefits of pursuing higher education. This year, the theme is “Dinosaur Eggscavation”, and is dedicated to the wonders of the past and everything we know about it!
