Touch a Truck SF ~ San Francisco, September 19Touch a Truck SF is now in it’s third year as a big fundraiser for Miraloma Cooperative Nursery School. At the event, kids get hands-on experience to sit in the seat, honk the horn (for the final hour), pretend to drive, and get up close and personal with your favorite vehicles, including police cars, school buses, diggers and more!

Fremont Festival of the Arts

Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

  • Downtown Fremont along Capitol Avenue and Paseo Padre Parkway

  • Free admission

  • Art and craft vendors, food, drinks, entertainment and a dedicated Kid City

  • The event takes place on streets closed to vehicle traffic

  • Walkable from Fremont BART.

Nihonmachi Street Fair

Saturday and Sunday, 11:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

  • San Francisco Japantown, centered around the Peace Plaza and Post Street

  • Free admission

  • AAPI food vendors, Asian artisans, nonprofit booths and cultural performances on two stages

  • Includes Children’s World and a smaller Doggie World

  • The car show and dog pageant are not taking place this year.

  • Outdoor music festival celebrating Jerry Garcia and his connection to San Francisco

  • Additional Excelsior neighborhood activities and after-parties continue later in the day.

Renegade Craft Fair
