Dear Fonseca

I live in a gated community. On Saturday night around midnight my husband and I caught a 15 year-old stealing items from our car in the driveway. We called the police. The boy lives in the back of our community. Yesterday, neighbors came over and begged us not to go ahead with pressing charges. They say it would be bad for the neighborhood and morale. My husband and I are outraged and don't want this to happen to another neighbor. Should we press charges or not?
