Dear Fonseca,

I am writing to you about my daughter's elementary school. The principal sent an Email saying the school is seriously considering banning young girls from wearing makeup. They say it's distracting and causing some bullying and other problems. I think this is totally unfair. My eight year-old daughter gets ready with me in the morning. We spend 40 minutes doing our makeup together. I think it's wrong that the school decides whether or not my daughter can wear makeup or not. I think it's up to the parent not the school. I can tell you that my daughter walks out the door every day feeling confident about herself I don't think my kid should be punished for others' actions. Who should decide who wears makeup ... parents or schools? What are your thoughts on this?
