Dear Fonseca,

My daughter is about to go back to school. My mother-in-law is mad at me because I purchased a school picture package for my daughter that includes digital retouching. She says I should leave the pictures alone because photoshopping them tells my daughter that she doesn't look good enough the way she is. I disagree and think that the digital retouching allows my daughter to fix her flaws and live her best life. It also cuts down on bullying. It's the same as if my daughter was older and wore makeup for a photo shoot. Do you think it's wrong to photoshop elementary school pictures? Are you Team Mom or Team Mother-in-Law?
