Dear Fonseca

I plan to start doing my holiday shopping this weekend. I am going to get my wife a health club membership. My sister says it's the most insensitive and cruel gift I could get her. My wife has mentioned she wants to start working out. My sister says I will offend her if I buy her a membership. She says she has to do it on her own. What do you think about this? Should I get my wife a health club membership for Christmas? Good or bad gift?

PS: My sister says buying the membership says I have a problem with my wife's weight
