North Bay Science Discovery Day (Free) ~ Santa RosaThe North Bay Science Discovery Day is a one-day, free community science festival to spark curiosity and wonder in children and families. The festival brings together 100+ organizations and 10,000 attendees — supported by 70 sponsors and 150 volunteers — for youth to talk with scientists and engineers while exploring 150+ interactive exhibits, from rockets and beehives, robots and sharks, catapults and hearts, animation, animals, art, and more. Admission and parking are free, and no tickets are required.
Women’s Heritage Day ~ San JoseDon’t miss this festive, family-friendly community gathering as we honor the achievements and contributions of women throughout Santa Clara Valley’s history! Mosaic America will feature a vibrant lineup of cultural performances and hands-on workshops. ChALE will present a Woman-owned lowrider and classic car show you won’t want to miss. History San José will host interactive craft stations highlighting local historical figures, with historic buildings and indoor exhibitions open to the public. Delicious drinks and treats will be available for purchase at the newly reopened O’Brien’s as well as onsite food trucks.
