Saturday, January 5 Lunar New Year at Children’s Discovery Museum – San Jose Kick off the Year of the Tiger at our annual Lunar New Year program, bringing together Chinese and Vietnamese traditions. Create your own branch of beautiful flowers to symbolize health, prosperity, and good fortune in the coming year. Enjoy story time in the amphitheater, “Bringing in the New Year” by Grace Lin, and then learn some basic lion dance steps in a facilitated activity. Sunday, January 6 Glowfari at Oakland Zoo – Oakland Glowfari is an unforgettable experience for all ages to enjoy!
