What's Open

As the Bay Area re-opens there are more opportunities for your family to enjoy activities outside your home. Outdoor spaces, including parks, gardens, and trails, are generally open and many cities have closed key streets for bicycling or outdoor dining.

Below are family-oriented destinations that are now open and we look forward to adding more options in the following weeks. Many require advance registrations, so be sure to check their websites for details when planning your visit.

Children’s Museums Bay Area Discovery Museum – Sausalito Indoor and outdoor exhibits are now open Wednesday – Sunday, 10 am – 4 pm. Capacity is limited and advanced tickets are required.

CuriOdyssey – San Mateo CuriOdyssey’s outdoor zoo and outdoor exhibits are now open Wednesday – Sunday, 10 am – 5 pm with reserved ticketing only.

Children’s Discovery Museum – San Jose (reopening March 5) Bill’s Backyard open to the general public with two play sessions with limited capacity.
