Dear Fonseca
I am a single mother of four children. The kids are wild and misbehaving because Christmas is coming and their Winter break is starting. They are not listening to me. I'm frustrated and have tried everything. A friend suggested I wrap fake Christmas presents and throw one or two in the fireplace to scare the kids into behaving. Part of me loves the idea while the other half thinks it's cruel and will scare them. What do you think of the tactic? I've been reading about it online. Am I a bad mother if I do this?
