Dear Fonseca

My immediate family is upset with me because I tossed my children's Christmas wish list in the garbage. I am a single mom with three kids under the age of 11. My family is mad because I am going to buy the kids holiday gifts from the dollar store. They've given me hundreds of dollars worth of gifts they want. Last year, I bought gifts like this. They played with them for a week and then cast them aside. I refuse to waste money. My family says I'm being cheap and acting like a Grinch. I think my gift strategy is brilliant. What do you think? Why waste money!
