Simon Cowell tells the Sun that he once lived in a haunted house. “I was living in Kingston Hill in South West London and my mum and dad were staying with me next door. I heard this banging on the door and I went to my mum and dad’s room and said, ‘You were banging on my door.’ They said, ‘What do you mean? It wasn’t us.’ So I went back into my bedroom and then it was literally like someone banging on the door. There was a dog in the house freaking out and then my parents left to go home. The following day I heard this crashing noise and all the stuff had fallen in the kitchen. I later found out that the land where my house was on was part of a bigger house. It got so bad they had to call in an exorcist.”

My roommate at the time, who talked to dead people, if that doesn’t sound too crazy, did a little ceremony, and that freaked me out. I was new to Los Angeles and the spirit, past lives, New Age thing. And now every house I go to, I have a healer or a medium come through. This makes me sound like an absolute insane human being.”

Dear Fonseca
My kids are excited about Halloween. My 12 year-old scared his 4 year-old brother by telling him there is a monster in the closet. My husband told me I should not have scolded our 12 year-old because we can use what he said to our advantage. Our 4 year-old has a habit of not listening. My husband says we can use the monster in the closet against him. I thought my husband was kidding until he said the next time our 4 year-old acts up he is going to tell him that the monster is going to come out of the closet and get him. He says it's good parenting. I disagree and think it's wrong to terrorize our son. What do you think?
