He survived with no injuries. At that air speed, his body would splatter like a chainmail glove swatting a worm. Just sayin’. When Maverick ejected at Mach 10.5, he was going 7,000 mph, giving him 400 million joules of kinetic energy — the explosive power of 100 kg of TNT. A situation that human physiology is not designed to survive. So, no. Maverick does not walk away from this. He be dead. Very dead.''

Dear Fonseca
My friends and family think I'm crazy because I want to send an invoice to another mother in the neighborhood. Her kid is always at my house eating out of my refrigerator without permission. Every time I turn around, it seems he is back in the fridge munching away. I've told him several times not to do it. My friends say I'm being a stick-in-the-mud and should be grateful all of the kids in the neighborhood want to come to my house. I barely make ends meet as a single mother. I'm dead serious about sending the invoice. What do you think? Am I wrong if I do? Shouldn't other parents chip in?
