We did the right thing together, all because you cared. And now, we will all move forward together. You are, as always, my employers and once again I am whittled down to no way to say thank you, other than just by saying thank you. So, thank you. My love & respect, JD.''

Dear Fonseca

My mother-in-law has some nerve. She sent me an e-mail saying she wants to get paid for watching her grandchildren this Summer. My husband thought the email was a joke until he called his mother and she said she was serious. She says we would have to pay a babysitter so why not pay her. I don't think grandparents should get paid for watching their grandchildren. My husband won't say anything because he doesn't want to get in trouble with his mother. What do you think? Should grandparents get paid?
