Olivia Rodrigo tells Nylon magazine that writing songs is better than a therapy session. "There are therapeutic benefits to songwriting. Whenever I'm feeling upset, I go to the piano. I go to the piano before I call a friend. You can literally create a whole song in your bedroom, and it can affect millions of people ... one thing that did change a lot is how empowered I feel when I listen to 'Drivers License.' Before, it was like, 'Ah, it's a sad song that I wrote to manifest what I was going through.' And now, after seeing the reaction that it had, I feel like that vulnerability is really, really powerful. It makes me happy, and not depressed."

Bruno Mars tells Apple Music that he and Anderson .Paak have been working on their Silk Sonic album for years. "There's a song on the album that we started in 2017, and it was just a little phrase that we had, joking around, going back and forth about. And when we got to the studio, I actually called Paak on his birthday and I said, 'I think I figured out that little hook we had, come to the studio.' He's like, 'It’s my birthday.' So he came drunk! That’s what it was, it snowballed. It was like, 'Well, wanna come back tomorrow?' We kept coming up with music and it felt like why you fall in love with music in the first place. Jamming with your buddy, there's no plan. Just working out the parts and trying to excite each other."

Ace Showbiz says Angelina Jolie celebrated World Bee Day yesterday by posting a picture of herself covered in bees. National Geographic commissioned a photographer to take the stunning portrait. Angelina tells People magazine that she didn't get stung because she didn't shower. "We couldn't shower for three days before. Because they told me, 'If you have all these different scents, shampoos and perfumes and things, the bee doesn't know what you are.' ... Then you put a few things up your nose and in your ears so you don't give them as many holes to climb in. I did have one that got under my dress the entire time. It was like one of those old comedies. I kept feeling it on my knee, on my leg, and then I thought, 'Oh, this is the worst place to get stung. It's getting really close.'
