Dear Fonseca,
My boyfriend and I are talking about getting married. We are both divorced and have custody of our children. The kids don't like one another. My boyfriend and I know we have found true love with each other. The kids don't want us to get married. Should we care what they think? They're just kids and don't pay rent or contribute to the household. He says we should just tell them we're getting married and that's the way it is. Other family and friends think the opinions of our children matter. Should we put their happiness before ours? Should we get married or not?
