Dear Fonseca,
My wife and I have been arguing over our 12 year old daughter. My wife is okay with my 12-year-old getting a bikini. I am not okay with it because our 12 year old looks like a 17-year-old. My wife says we will kill her confidence and self-esteem if we do not allow her to buy a bikini. I would have no problem with her getting a bikini if she looked 12, but she doesn't. I think she's going to attract unwanted attention. My wife says the attention will be good for her because it'll boost her confidence and self-esteem. Where do you stand on this? If you were us, would you allow our daughter to buy a bikini or not?
