"The most miraculous process is watching a song go from a tiny idea in the middle of the night to something that 55,000 people are singing back to you. There is no feeling in the world to describe it. It's like watching your children become huge successes."

Dear Fonseca,
My family is flying out later today for a Memorial Day weekend vacation. My neighbor works for an airline and thinks my husband and I are the worst because we booked first class seats for ourselves, but not our children. The kids are 6, 7, 9 and 11. We put them in coach. My neighbor says that's wrong because no one is going to watch them. My husband and I deserve a vacation too. The flight attendants will keep an eye on them. My neighbor says we're bad parents because we did that. I disagree. Nothing's going to happen to them and they wouldn't appreciate the first class treatment we are going to get in first class. Are my husband and I bad parents for doing this?
