Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductees Announced: ABC says Mary J. Blige, Cher, Foreigner, A Tribe Called Quest, Kool & The Gang and Ozzy Osbourne are going to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The late Jimmy Buffett and Dionne Warwick will receive the Musical Excellence Award. Mariah Carey, Lenny Kravitz, the late Sinéad O’Connor, Sade, Oasis, and Jane’s Addiction were nominated but didn't make the cut. The induction ceremony will be held on October 19th in Cleveland

Stevie Nicks tells The News International that she wrote a heartbreaking poem for Taylor Swift titled "For T and me...". The poem details ill-fated lovers, one "way too hot to handle" and the other "way too high to try."
Gossip Ireland says Taylor Swift has reignited her feud with Kim Kardashian. Her new album has a diss track titled 'thanK you aIMee'. The letters K,I and M are in caps to spell out Kim’s name. The song references her past feud with Kim. The Daily Mail says Kim believes the song is about her but fears backlash from Taylor's fans if she responds. Fans are convinced the lyrics reference Kim and her children, while Kim's friends believe the feud is far from over.

Usher declared April 20th as Usher Raymond Day in Hamilton County, Tennessee. He said, "I never forgot where I came from, as it helps remind me where I’m going"
Yahoo News says Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes are opening a steakhouse in Kansas City. Kelce says the restaurant may serve a special condiment called "Pat's Ketchup." Mahomes is known for eating ketchup with everything. Travis says, ‘’We’re putting together menus and everything right now. It probably won’t be up and running until after this upcoming season.”
Giant Freakin Robot says Tom Cruise is allegedly going to star in a remake of the 1977 Clint Eastwood action thriller “The Gauntlet”. He will play Eastwood's character Detective Ben Shockley. ‘’The Gauntlet’’ is about a detective who protects a woman, who is going to testify against the mob.
Female First says Britney Spears is close to finalizing a biopic based on her memoir, "The Woman in Me." A source says, “Britney’s book was a groundbreaking best-seller and raised the public’s consciousness with regards to how the entertainment industry and conservatorships work. She’s in advanced talks to turn it into a cinematic release and her songwriters have been informed that some of her songs will be used once it is greenlit. Female writers are being approached to turn the book into a script because only a woman can understand the nuances that made Britney’s role in her family, and position in pop culture, so complicated. If necessary, the project could become a mini-series in the style of 'Genius: Aretha'."
Radar Online says Mariah Carey is allegedly looking into breast implants following a reported 50-pound weight loss. A source says, "Mariah is really happy about slimming down to 135 pounds, but she's got a new complaint about her body. She's convinced her chest is too small and saggy. Now she's saying she wants to get implants. She used to complain about her breasts causing back pain, but now they're much too small. She's saying she wants to ramp up her sex appeal with a boob job. She loves her smaller waist and trimmer thighs but feels lost without that F cup."
Julia Louis-Dreyfus was recently doing an interview when she said a nurse called her by her Seinfeld name ‘’Elaine’’ while she was giving birth. Female First quotes her as saying, “I was giving birth, and when you’re in labor, they put that monitor around your tummy. And I was in the bathroom, and I was naked, and I had the thing around my tummy, and I was massive, by the way. I gained like 50 pounds when I was pregnant. I was standing there, and my water broke, and all of a sudden a nurse came into the room and I went, ‘My water broke!’ Ok, reminding you — naked. And she goes, ‘Elaine!’ It was so awful. Isn’t that crazy?”
The Daily Star says Sharon Osbourne wants to adopt a tiger or panther as a pet.She says, “It’s not a dangerous move if you rear them from when they’re babies. People have them has pets in Dubai. They drive them in their cars there, people have them as normal pets.” Ozzy responded, “So where would you have it? Would you let a tiger walk around the house? You’re insane. A new survey by AOL reveals that 24% of women would prefer to share a bed with their pet rather than their partner. Other findings:
- 13% of men would choose to sleep alongside their pet instead of their significant other
- 44% of women prefer sleeping alone, compared to 33% of men
- 77% of women say their partner has annoying sleeping habits. Only 60% of men feel the same
Bored Survey
A new survey by Elmer's Glue reveals that the average child gets bored in just 33 minutes. Other findings:
- 47% of children quickly become bored with their activities,
- 35% of parents get stressed about finding new ideas to keep their kids entertained
- 40% of parents struggle to come up with daily activities for their children.
Dear Fonseca,
I have a dating dilemma. I just ended my 17-year marriage and have started dating again. I met a great guy who my 13-year-old daughter can't stand. She's going through the start of her terrible teen years and hates everybody, not to mention she has a terrible attitude. She's asked me not to date my new guy. I'm torn about what to do. It's hard to meet a great guy so I would hate to break up with him. On the other hand, I want to respect my daughter's wishes. I'm thinking maybe it's time I do something for myself. Is having your child not like a potential partner a reason not to date them?
