KRON says the city of Santa Clara, California is renaming themselves Swiftie Clara in honor of Taylor Swift's upcoming concert there. Santa Clara Mayor Lisa Gilmore stated; “By virtue of the authority vested in me as Mayor, and on behalf of the Santa Clara City Council, (I) do hereby proclaim Taylor Swift as honorary Mayor for the period of Friday, July 28, 2023 to Saturday July 29, 2023, and the name of the City shall be changed for ceremonial purposes only to Swiftie Clara.”
Selena Gomez tells Vanity Fair magazine that she wants to write music that makes her fans smile. "I prefer writing happy music. Gigi and her friend were taken to a prison detention center and were later released on bail. She and her friend plead guilty and were fined $1,000. Gigi's representative says, “Gigi was traveling with marijuana purchased legally in NYC with a medical license. It has also been legal for medical use in Grand Cayman since 2017. Her record remains clear and she enjoyed the rest of her time on the island.”
People magazine claims Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello are allegedly divorcing because they have grown apart. A source tells the magazine, “They have been growing apart for some time now and tried to resolve things, but they are focused on different areas of their lives. They had a passionate romance and kept the flames hot for quite a while, but it didn’t last. They definitely love and respect each other but once that initial passion dies down and other areas get in the way, then little differences get bigger.”

Dear Fonseca,
My dog and I have become a lightning rod for controversy in our gated community. I was walking Buster the other night when a 5 year-old boy ran up and smacked him in the snout for no reason. Buster nipped at the boy. The boy's parents went to the HOA board and said Buster is a danger to the community. The board knows he's not and heard my side of the story. They are asking me to apologize to the boy and his parents. They say if I do then nothing will happen to Buster or me. I am torn about what to do. Part of me says I should apologize and let the whole incident blow over while the other part of me is outraged and does not want to apologize because Buster did nothing wrong and is not dangerous. The boy should apologize to Buster. I would go to jail if I walked up and slapped the kid. Should I apologize or not?
