The Idaho County Free Press says Taylor Swift has caused a rift between a mother and daughter. The daughter, who wishes to remain anonymous, posted the following on Reddit ... “My mom is getting remarried (my birth father passed away a while ago). A few weeks ago I won Taylor Swift tickets on the radio for the same day as her wedding. I made the decision to go to the concert over the wedding, and I told her this, and she is very upset - she has not spoken to me since. I love my mother and feel bad missing her wedding, but I thought she would understand due to the circumstances. I do not like my soon-to-be stepfather, and I feel like seeing Taylor Swift is a once in a lifetime experience that I do not want to miss. I have made it very clear to my mom over the past few months that I am not okay with the marriage, but still plan to be at the wedding. But then I won the tickets, and things changed.”

The Liverpool Echo newspaper says a bar, inspired by the Top Gun movies, is going to open in Merryside, England. The bar is called Maverick's. It will feature a jukebox, vintage neon signs, an American flag and a Statue of Liberty. Owner Andrew Mikhail says, "Top Gun is my favorite film of all time and so the bar just had to have a nod to the iconic Tom Cruise film. There's one thing that holds true for all American dive bars: If you visit one, you're always going to have a story to tell later, and that is what we want to achieve with Maverick’s".

I have a date this weekend. My girlfriends and I went shopping on Wednesday night for a new dress for me. I bought a very revealing one. I like to wear revealing clothing on first dates because I like to test the man I'm with. If they are undressing me with their eyes, than I know they are pigs and don't respect me. If they look at me from the neck up, than I know they respect me. My friends say the test is wrong because it's a trap. They say I'm gorgeous and there's no way a guy won't undress me with his eyes. My brother also says it's an unfair test. What do you think? Is my test valid or not? Is it wrong if a man undresses an attractive woman with his eyes? Is this a compliment or an insult?
