Dear Fonseca
I recently attended a talent show at my son's elementary school. Two parents blasted me after the show because I didn't clap for their kids and other children after their performances. I told them I didn't clap because I didn't think the performances were that great. They blasted me again saying they're just little kids singing their hearts out. I don't think the parents should have clapped for mediocre or below-average performances. It's the same thing as giving out participation trophies. Am I a cruel person like the parents said or just honest and right?
