Dear Fonseca
I came home last night all excited about my new hairstyle and hair color. My husband freaked out. I went from having shoulder-length brown hair to short and blonde. He says we should have discussed the change before I did it. I disagree and don't think I have to discuss anything about my hair or my body with my husband. He disagrees and says that's what married couples do. He says doing something that drastic is a family decision. Is he right? He didn't tell me he was going to dye his hair black and get an earring so why should I have to tell him what I'm going to do? Double standard???? He says hair dye is different than a haircut.
