Woman Cancels Boyfriend Because He Refuses To Wear Pink To Barbie Movie: The New York Post says a woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, recently canceled her boyfriend because he refused to wear pink to the Barbie movie.
The woman posted the following on Reddit ... “The Barbie movie means a lot to me, I’ve been looking forward to this movie for so long. I’ve asked my boyfriend to go to the cinema with me, both dressed in pink. It would show that he supports me, and it’d just be fun. He agreed to watch the movie with me, but not in pink. I told him wearing pink is minimum effort, he says minimum effort is him coming along to the movie. I am unreasonable? My friends’ boyfriends dressed in pink, and my dad and brother would, too. I wanted to make a whole event out of it, take pics at the booth etc. The pics would be for our eyes only, not social media, We’ve decided to cancel the date since the mood is already ruined. Despite what the title says, we’ve made this decision together. I wasn’t asking for a lot, just wanted him to wear a pink shirt. If roles were reversed and he asked me to wear those hats worn in Oppenheimer to the cinema I would do it in a heartbeat.”

Darth Vader Runs A Mile In Death Valley, California: The New York Post says a Star Wars superfan recently completed the 'Darth Valley Mile' in Death Valley, California. Jon Rice dressed as Darth Vader before running a mile in 128° heat. Rice runs the same route every year. He trains by listening to dance music and running in place in a sauna. His wife waited for him at the finish line with an air conditioned car and a cold towel. Rice wore thermal underwear and a black compression shirt under his costume.

He served Char dogs at the Wieners Circle, which is famous for having its employees insult customers. KTLA says the labor union, representing thousands of hotel housekeepers in Southern California, is asking Taylor Swift to postpone her upcoming Los Angeles concert until they are paid a living wage. They wrote a letter to Taylor that read: “We make beds, clean bathrooms, and take care of every guest need. Your shows make our hotels a lot of money. In Los Angeles, hotels are doubling and tripling what they charge because you are coming. They also add junk fees on rooms, just like Ticketmaster does. But we see none of it.”
