Similarly, taps are clearly not a problem: when did you last hear of someone getting ill from pouring a glass of water from a tap? Dear Fonseca

My 19 year-old son got arrested this morning at 1:00 a.m. in South Padre Island. He is on Spring Break. I was working a 12-hour shift at the hospital so he knew to call my husband. My husband slept through the call. I am writing to you because I need to vent. My husband and I are furious that our son got himself into trouble when we told him not to. He is now asking for bail money. My husband and I are thinking of letting him sit in jail for several days. My mother-in-law thinks it's cruel. My husband and I think it's tough love. I can also see her point. God knows what kind of trash he is locked up with. Should we bail him out or not?
