Dear Fonseca

I have been single for a while and like everyone else am on some dating apps. My friends and I were talking about dating this past weekend when I told them about a secret test I give to each of my dates. When we go to dinner, I order the most expensive thing on the menu to see how they react. If they get mad or say something, I know they might not be for me. If they don't say anything than I know we're probably a good match. My friends say it's a terrible test and makes me look like I'm just dating to get a free meal. I disagree because the test tells me about their temperament, which is important. What do you think of my test? Is it good or bad? Is it wrong that I'm ordering expensive meals? Is it wrong to just date for dinners?
