Alec Baldwin Charged For Shooting Cinematographer : NBC says Alec Baldwin is going to be charged with involuntary manslaughter for shooting cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the New Mexico set of their movie "Rust". The film's armorer, Hannah Gutierrez Reed, is also going to be charged with involuntary manslaughter because she was in charge of weapons on the set. "Rust" first assistant director David Halls has agreed to plead guilty to negligent use of a deadly weapon. If convicted, Alec is facing 18 months in prison and a $5,000 fine. NBC says he could spend as much as five years in prison because of a firearm enhancement clause.
Alec's lawyer says, "This decision distorts Halyna Hutchins' tragic death and represents a terrible miscarriage of justice. Mr. Baldwin had no reason to believe there was a live bullet in the gun -- or anywhere on the movie set. He relied on the professionals with whom he worked, who assured him the gun did not have live rounds. We will fight these charges, and we will win."

The Hutchins family released a statement saying, "We want to thank the Santa Fe Sheriff and the District Attorney for concluding their thorough investigation and determining that charges of involuntary manslaughter are warranted for the killing of Halyna Hutchins with conscious disregard for human life. Our independent investigation also supports charges are warranted. It is a comfort to the family that, in New Mexico, no one is above the law. We support the charges, will fully cooperate with this prosecution, and fervently hope the justice system works to protect the public and hold accountable those who break the law."

The NY Post says the Hillsborough County, Florida police refuse to believe Carol Baskin's claim that her dead ex-husband, Don Lewis, is alive and living in Costa Rica. Carol claims a homeland security officer told her Don lives in Central America. The Hillsborough County Police are still listing Don as a missing person and say his case is open. “We continue to push hard on this case. … We still have some avenues. Not a week goes by that we don’t have our hand in this case”

Entertainment Tonight says things are getting serious between Captain America star Chris Evans and his girlfriend Alba Baptista. A source tells the TV show, “Chris and Alba have gotten serious. This is the most committed anyone can remember him being in a very long time, if not ever. TMZ says Kelly Clarkson has gotten restraining orders against two people, who won't leave her alone. Victor Fernandez and Hugette Nicole Young are both prohibited from contacting Kelly and her kids for five years. They must also stay 100 yards away from her. Fernandez was caught on camera driving his truck in front of Kelly's home. He tries to leave gifts and love letters for her.

Two weeks ago, I attended my friend's wedding. I met a guy there named Brian. We've been talking ever since. He asked me out on a date for Saturday night. We're going to a place that's an hour away. He said he would drive, but then asked for some gas money. I thought he was joking, but he was serious. My best friend says that's a red flag and I should blow him off. My sister says times are tough and I might impress him by throwing him a couple of bucks for gas. I'm not sure who to believe.. my sister or my friend. Was it wrong for Brian to ask for gas money? Should I chip in? Is this a red flag?
