- Extra TV says Katie Couric is going to guest host Jeopardy. She is going to do an entire week sometime this year - A new study by the National Golf Foundation reveals that people played 441 million rounds of golf in 2020. That's up 57 million from 2019 and mainly due to the coronavirus.

- The Chicago Sun-Times says Mountain Dew is launching a new pink soda flavor called Major Melon. The watermelon drink will come with and without sugar. It's Mountain Dew's first new permanent flavor in a decade

- Yahoo News says Pepperidge Farm is releasing a new Goldfish flavor. The cheddar-and-sour cream flavor will hit store shelves later this month

- Chain Store Age magazine says Bed Bath & Beyond plans to close 200 locations by 2022. They will close 43 stores by the end of February.

- WKRN says the Nashville bomber's ex-girlfriend is seeking the $300,000 reward money that was offered for information leading to his arrest. Anthony Warner was in his RV when it exploded in downtown Nashville. His ex-girlfriend says she is entitled to the money because she told cops he was building bombs before the explosion.

U.S. Capitol Erupts In Violence And Chaos: A huge crowd of protesters descended upon Washington, D.C. yesterday as President Trump held a rally to fight Joe Biden's official certification to become President. Trump vowed never to concede the election as supporters waved flags and signs that read, "Stop The Steal!"

Protesters quickly stormed the rotunda of the U.S. Capitol building and smashed windows. The House of Representatives was evacuated after an armed standoff took place with a protester, who breached the front door of the House. Another protester stood before the dais of the Senate shouting, "Trump won the election!"

ABC says yesterday's protest produced four deaths, 52 arrests and two pipe bombs.

Trump later tweeted, "I am asking for everyone at the U.S. Capitol to remain peaceful. No violence! Remember, WE are the Party of Law & Order – respect the Law and our great men and women in Blue. Thank you!"

Mashable claims Twitter suspended Donald Trump's account yesterday for 12 hours because of the unrest in Washington. CBS says Instagram is locking Donald's account for 24 hours. ABC says Donald's Facebook account has been locked for 24 hours

CBS says the woman, who was shot inside the US Capitol Building during yesterday's protest has died.

NBC says the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat walked off the floor prior to their game last night The players kneeled during the National Anthem to show their disdain for yesterday's violent protests in DC. ESPN says the Bucks and Pistons took a knee on the opening possession of last night's game


Miley Cyrus tells Capital FM that she and Elton John have recorded a cover of Metallica's ''Nothing Else Matters.'' "I did a Metallica cover of 'Nothing Else Matters' featuring Elton John on piano, I've got Yo-Yo Ma, Chad Smith; so many all-stars in this band. I'm so excited about this collaboration. I mean, having Elton John and Metallica and me ... I love when ingredients don't quite fit," she said. "Or it seems like a concoction that no one would ever put together, and you gotta have someone like [the song's producer Andrew] Watt that will take that risk."
